Melbourne`s holiday town featured a beach party on social media, with more than 300 revelers uninvited and chaotic. One teenager was stabbed and two others were robbed of their mobile phones.

A party at (Point Lonsdale) Beach in Cape Longsdale, the state resort town, lost control on Saturday night, triggering a series of robberies and attacks, the Daily Mail reported.

The police rushed to the scene and scattered the party revelers. At midnight, two 16-year-olds were attacked in the sand dunes near the intersection of (Ocean Rd) and Fellows Road (Fellows Rd). The assailants, armed with knives, first beat the two teenagers from Janjuk (Jan Juc) and the new town of (Newtown), then stole their phones after leave. Soon after, another 17-year-old was stabbed by a group of teenagers.

Police Superintendent Gillard (Craig Gillard) of (Western Region) in the West said the series of events of the night had once again demonstrated the dangers of promoting parties or events on social media.

"when you send an invitation on social media, you can`t control who`s going to attend, and you can`t control their behavior, as you saw in this case," Gillard said.

Gillard called parents to understand their kids` movements, especially minors, check what they said to reduce risk.
