According to SBS, about 84 occupations on the list of skilled immigrants in the Australian Capital Territory are currently open to applicants, architects, registered nurse (Registered Nurse), chefs, morning teachers, web designers, etc.
After the Ministry of the Interior (Department of Home Affairs) released a new list of immigrant occupations last week, the Capital Territory also updated its list of occupations, including changes to some occupations that qualify for the state / territory guarantee.
At present, the guarantee visa invitation for the 190 capital territories has been opened.
Last year, the Capital Territory made major changes to its visa guarantee procedures. Now, applicants "must formally express their intention through the score-based Canberra scoring system, (Canberra Matrix), when applying for a Class 190 guarantee in the Capital Territory," the Capital Territory government said.
The rating system includes scoring for the economic contribution or benefit shown by the applicant, or / or a sincere commitment to becoming a member of the Capital Territory community.
"those who score more than 20 will be ranked. The highest-score applicants in the rating system will then be selected to receive an invitation to apply for the Capital Territory 190 guarantee, "the Canberra Matrix said in the guidelines.
It is reported that on March 12, the Capital Territory issued 363 invitations after updating the occupation list. The next round of invitations will open on March 28.
