A woman is trapped in a house in Melbourne after a fire broke out. By the time the firemen rushed in, she had lost her life.

The 55-year-old woman, Vivian Rodger, reportedly lives alone at the Maybury Drive villa in Melbourne`s North District.
On Thursday night, the flame quietly rose from an unburned cigarette end, and the flame climbed up the wall along the sheet.

"if we had known earlier, then we could have done something, it`s too late," the neighbor said painfully.
Residents are saddened by Ms Rodger`s departure.
People attacked the fire service, claiming that the victim could have been rescued if the fire engine had reached the correct address.
Ms. Rodger is understood to be the only resident in the house, where she has lived for more than 20 years.
As a result of the previous two years of stroke, usually use wheelchairs to move.
Neighbors say Mrs. Rodger devoted her life to her son and two cats and loved to make teddy bears.
