Do you have a visa rejection rate of more than 50% for spouse immigrants? Why do spouses sign up faster and slower?

This is mainly due to the growing form of immigration over the past two years, with immigration scores rising from the initial 60 to the highest, and even now the invitation score has risen from 60 to 65. As a result, spouse points have become one of the ways that more and more students make up points. Today, the compass gives you a detailed analysis of what you have to know about your spouse.

Spouse bonus

For high-score majors, such as accounting 80, spouse bonus points sometimes become necessary. Let`s first look at the terms of the spouse`s bonus:

  • Age: under 45
  • English proficiency: 4 6
  • Full career assessment on the immigration list
  • Relationship materials with the principal applicant. This section of the material is critical to determine whether the main and deputy applications for PR visa applications are smooth. Sufficient materials can allow your application to sign without additional materials, but if the materials are not well prepared, not only provide more proof of relationship, but also delay the speed of signing. (for specific relationship materials, please refer to the following requirements for spouse visas)

Relationship materials and spouse immigration visa

The compass has received a number of consultations, and the applicant has submitted a 820 visa on his own DIY. As a result of the submission, due to insufficient information, he did not know how to provide supplementary materials and respond to the Immigration Board after sending a supplementary letter from the Immigration Service. Many of DIY`s spousal immigrant visa applicants have failed to seek professional help and continue to respond to their own DIY, which could be rejected.

Let`s look at a set of data from within immigration. Spouse visas, including overseas filings of 309 and domestic filings of 820, recorded 63.4 percent and 59.6 percent of DIY applications in fiscal year 2015 and fiscal year 2016 / 17, respectively. Among them, the number of rejected visa is as high as 53.8% and 47%, that is, DIY`s spouse immigration visa, the rejection rate is 50%! According to the figures for the two fiscal years, the decline in the rejection rate in 2016 / 17 was due to a growing number of applicants abandoning DIY, `s choice of professional immigration agents.

Today the compass will tell you what relationship materials are needed in preparing spouse immigration visas and other visas and the importance of these materials.

First, whether it is marriage or de facto cohabitation, it is necessary to prove that the relationship between the applicant and the spouse is real and persistent. Truth goes without saying, then what is continuous? Many applicants believe that my spouse and I are married and that a marriage certificate proves our relationship. However, this is a mistake for many people, and according to the real and continuing requirements mentioned above, a marriage certificate can at best prove that the applicant and the spouse are currently married, but the authenticity or the persistence of the relationship still exists. A marriage certificate alone is hard to convince. This is also a question for many DIY applicants, who think they have already provided a marriage certificate, and why do they have to provide other certificates.

The Compass recommends that the more material you can provide with your spouse, the better, the more material will be good for your visa application. We meet a lot of applicants, in the preparation of materials, afraid of trouble, do not want to provide this, do not want to provide that, after the visa submission, because the material is not sufficient to meet the filling materials, directly affect the speed of visa signing. This kind of situation, after submitting the material, visa application is like stone sunken sea to have no news. But if prepared well in advance, it is likely that the letter of replenishment will become the next signed letter. Therefore, when meeting the compass to provide the applicant with advice on the preparation of the relationship materials, we hope that the applicant can cooperate as much as possible. Let`s take a look at what evidence is needed:

1. Relationship statement, we commonly known as love letter or love resume, including:

  • The way, time and place of the first meeting
  • How the relationship develops
  • When to get engaged or married (if any)
  • An activity, such as a trip, a party, etc that two people take part in together.
  • If you`ve been separated, you need to explain the reason and the time.
  • A major event in a relationship, such as cohabitation, marriage, etc.
  • For future plans

2. Evidence of the common economy, for example:

  • A certificate of a common house or house, such as a property certificate or a rental contract.
  • A loan of major assets under a common name, such as a mortgage, a car loan, or a large electrical appliance, etc.
  • Bank statement of a common account
  • A household bill with a common name, such as electricity or gas.

3. Proof of sharing of family responsibilities, for example:

  • A statement of the manner in which housework is assigned, which may be included in the first part of the relationship statement
  • A family bill with a common name
  • E-mail or e-mail to both of you.
  • Shared responsibility for children
  • Your living arrangements.

4. Show that your relationship is known to others, such as:

  • A joint invitation to both of them to go out with a friend or acquaintance
  • Certifying that you have declared your relationship to an government organization, business or public institution
  • Proof of participation in sports, culture, or social activities.
  • Proof of a trip together.

5. Proof of your mutual commitment to a long-term relationship, such as:

  • Learn about each other`s personal circumstances, such as background and family. Relationship statements that can be included in part 1
  • A document, such as an insurance document, that indicates that you have merged your own personal matters.
  • The terms of your will.
  • Letters and phone bills show the proof of contact when you`re separated.

The above documents need to be provided whether they are married or cohabited in fact. Next, according to the marital status, we prepare different materials to prove.

1. Marry

Marriage will not be repeated, the need to provide a marriage certificate. If you get married in Australia, you will get a signed marriage certificate on the day of the marriage registration, but this document is not an official Australian marriage certificate. After registration, Australia`s formal marriage certificate needs to be picked up at the registry office or mailed to a vertical version of the marriage certificate. If you get married outside Australia, you need an official certificate, and if it`s not an English document, you need an English translator. Like China`s marriage certificate, general notarization certificate, there will also be a page of English translation.

2. Factual cohabitation

Documents supporting the de facto cohabitation relationship, providing at least one of the following:

  • Certify that you have a relationship of at least 12 months prior to applying for this visa
  • If you have registered a de facto cohabitation relationship with the relevant Australian authorities (e.g. birth, death and Marriage Registry), please provide a certificate of registration.

If your relationship is less than 12 months old, please provide one of the following:

  • Prove that your partner has a permanent humanitarian visa and that your de facto cohabitation relationship existed before your visa was signed, and that your relationship was declared to be less than 12 months before your visa was signed.
  • Visa applicants have compelling and compassionate reasons.
