11 suspects in Melbourne Police counter-narcotics operation arrest (Photo No. 9)
On Wednesday morning, Victoria police raided nine properties in northwest Melbourne, arrest 11 suspects.
On Wednesday morning, (Echo Taskforce), an echo group of North-West Metro Crime Squad), launched anti-drug operations in (Brimbank), Hume (Hume) and Morand (Moreland) in Brisbank, according to Radio 9. Seized 1 kg of methamphetamine, 1 luxury car, 1 group of guns and other weapons.
The 11 suspects were arrested and charged with smuggling of guns, smuggling of commercial quantities of drug (methamphetamine), trafficking of quantities of commercial drug (methamphetamine), possession of guns and possession of drug.
Police also allegedly seized a series of glassware, toxic chemicals, ammunition, steroids, fake identification and equipment used in the manufacture of fake identification.
