Police stopped a Sydney-to-Melbourne bus in Kalkallo, Melbourne`s North District, after receiving a 000 call from a passenger, the Herald Sun reported. Passengers were asked to get off the bus. The explosion-proof team searched the car.
Around 4: 20 a. M., a 40-something male passenger made a 000 call to the police.
The bus stopped at Mitchell St and the passengers were safely evacuated. The man remained in the car, but was soon arrested by police. The man is assisting the police in their investigation.
