The tightening of immigration by Australia`s government, coupled with tight diplomatic relations between China and Australia, has led to a sharp decline in the number of Chinese-born residents granted citizen status in Australia. The tightening of immigration by Australia`s government, coupled with tight diplomatic relations between China and Australia, has led to a sharp decline in the number of Chinese-born residents granted citizen status in Australia. In the first eight months of the fiscal year, only 1559 Chinese-born residents were granted citizen status, down from 6500 in 2016-2017, the media quoted the Ministry of the Interior as saying.

Over the past few years, 80 to 90 percent of applications for Chinese immigrants have been approved, but between July 2017 and February 2018, the success rate fell to 3 percent; over the same period, the success rate of Indian applicants rose from 15 percent to 18 percent. Immigration authorities` decisions this year have come under scrutiny as conservative lawmakers call for lower annual naturalisation.

Government also tried to tighten the citizen status application process, but plans to stagnate in the Senate. Multicultural minister Taqi (Alan Tudge) declined to comment, and the department declined to provide the data. A spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior said there were no restrictions on people of certain backgrounds from obtaining citizen status.

The number of Chinese successfully applying to emigrate to Australia has dropped sharply

Naturalization policy is becoming more and more tight, why do you want to emigrate more and more? What are the nine major benefits for Australian immigrants, and how much are there for PR? do you know that?

Recently, Australia`s naturalization policy has been brushed up again by the news. But don`t be too happy. Although the upgraded naturalization policy has lowered the standard of English, the news since then has been disconcerting.

Australia's government tightens immigration policy, Chinese apply for citizenship to Australia, the success rate drops to only 3%

From the announcement of naturalization reforms on April 20, to June`s submission to Parliament, the House of Commons passed the naturalization bill, and then formally removed from Senate discussions on the 18th of this month. Immigration policy can be said to be a twists and turns!

Immigrant minister says naturalization will reduce IELTS 6 to 5. Applicants for naturalization on April 20 this year will be tried in accordance with the original immigration requirements. But the new rules will begin on July 1 next year.

In fact, the majority of immigrants, in Australia in the first 10 years of naturalization is not high, 10 years later only 75% of PR naturalization. According to their nationality, the lowest percentage of countries naturalized are Japan and New Zealand. Now, thanks to cuts in PR benefits, naturalisation is likely to hit a small peak.

According to statistics released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Asian migrants are showing a trend to replace European migrants. Forty-nine percent of Australians speak overseas, or their parents speak overseas, while European immigrants are down from 52 percent to 34 percent. In Sydney, for example, the density of Chinese is quite high.

So why are more and more people emigrating to Australia, and what are the nine benefits in Australian legend? What benefits does PR have after cutting benefits? Here you will find out one by one.

1, Australian pension

Australia`s super pension depends on how long you work, partly with the help of the company and partly on a voluntary basis. Pension accounts cannot be removed and government will be returned to you at retirement age. Pension accounts can be turned into financial accounts, investment stocks, funds, and so on, the income is relatively high.

2、Medicare

The cost of seeing a doctor in Australia is definitely a big social welfare, and a serious illness costs no penny. The condition, of course, is to queue up in a public hospital for an acute gastroenteritis that might not have been operated on at that time.

3. Unemployment benefits

If you`re going to get rich on unemployment benefits, don`t think about it. Unemployment benefits in Australia cannot be lifted out of poverty, with 200 yuan a week and 300 yuan a week, perhaps not enough for foreign students to eat every week.

The new relief policy shows that there will be no relief payments if you leave Australia for a long time. But this social welfare will be a security benefit.

4, low income allowance

In the same way, partners in Australia generally don`t like it, and once they receive guaranteed benefits, bank deposits, property is subject to scrutiny.

5. 12 years of free education in primary and secondary schools

This is probably the reason why many people emigrate to Australia: for the next generation, Australia`s basic education aims to train children to learn independently and encourage education. Of course, there are college entrance examination, in Australia, but examination subjects are chosen according to their own interests.

6. Support allowance

Australian low-income families, single-parent families can receive alimony, the age of 18 years of age. And during maternity leave, government, the company`s allowance, is also available.

7, interest-free student loans

The benefit is only for citizen, PR, Australia, which was scrapped this year. Both PR and the New Zealand public are required to pay full tuition fees. And cannot apply for student loan. After the job, the salary reaches a certain level before starting to repay the loan.

8. Student allowance

Australian university admissions, compared with international students, can reduce tuition fees by 46%. But in the past, college in Australia didn`t require tuition at all.

9, othe

In Australia, you may not know how many benefits you have, many children, childbirth, and unmarried parents. Although there is a $100 a week, it is also beautiful to get the money. But don`t abuse welfare.
