Darwin thundered last night (picture of station 7)
Early this morning, the capital of Australia`s Northern Territory, Darwin, suddenly heard a mysterious noise similar to explosion, and residents woke up one after another.
According to Radio 7, the Northern Territory was hit by a storm last night, lightning and thunder, a gust of 65 kilometers per hour. In this weather condition, the local residents were woken up by a strange loud noise this morning.
A resident asked on Facebook: "what happened to the loud noise at 06:45 this morning? did explosion happen to Inpex Oil?"
"it`s more like around 04:45 in the morning," one netizen responded. "I think it`s probably just a storm."
Another netizen said: "these loud noises are not thunder, about 06:45 to 7 am and around 8: 00, the interval is uniform."
It is understood that these unusual noises actually come from the military drill held at Robertson Barracks (Robertson Barracks), east of Darwin`s CBD.
Gardner (Kris Gardiner), an Australian Army public affairs official, explained that such drills were "held on a regular basis" and would use a small amount of dynamite. This type of explosion sound does not normally spread far away, but echoes from weather conditions this morning.
