In addition, Sydney`s average oil price reached 162.2 cents a litre on Monday, and wholesale oil prices are at their highest level in four years. Some gas stations in the city have oil prices of 167.4 cents per litre.

Australian drivers felt the impact on gasoline prices as the Australian dollar weakened and international oil prices and wholesale prices were high.
