Last month, the 33-year-old Malaysian man flew from (Kuala Lumpur), Kuala Lumpur, to Melbourne airport, the Herald Sun reported. In the baggage extraction area, the man was acting suspiciously and caught the attention of Australian Federal Police (Australian Federal Police) officers.

The nervous man was then found taking the hidden items out of his suitcase and putting them in the jacket he was wearing. Police officers immediately searched the man and found 10 bags of masked tape from him.

A police spokesman said that after initial testing, the articles were heroin, a total of 3.5 kilograms.

A staff member at Melbourne Airport witnessed the arrest.

The official said the man appeared nervous before his arrest and seemed to expect something to happen. He went to the conveyor belt to pick up his luggage, but left it on the turntable for a few minutes. Police waited until the man picked up his luggage and arrested him.

After the man`s arrest, police left all crew members of the Malaysia Airlines flight at the airport for questioning to ensure that no one else was involved.

The Australian Federal Police is now investigating the link between the arrested and some other drug-related activities in Australia.

The suspect, charged with two counts of illegal drug trafficking, will appear before the Melbourne District Court (Melbourne Magistrates` Court) on Aug. 6.
