Ashes stolen from Chimo Town, Victoria (Photo No. 7)
A 66-piece plaque on the ashes wall of an Australian cemetery was stolen, worth more than A $20,000.
State police revealed that 66 bronze and brass plaques on the (Kilmore Public Cemetery) ash wall of the town of Chimo in northern Melbourne were stolen from December 1 to 17, according to Radio 7.
People posted on social media denouncing the thieves.
"the dead can`t rest in peace," said one netizen. "what`s wrong with the world?"
