Chinese students are on the news of Australian media again!
This time, however, it is not a good thing.
Jiawen Zhang, 20, is a college student majoring in engineering in Brisbane.
On Feb. 12, Zhang pleaded guilty to serious animal abuse at the Brisbane District Court.
It is understood that it happened on Nov. 14, 2018, when Zhang found two cats sneaking in his backyard, a cat mother with a kitten.
Seeing this behind the scenes, Zhang stole the kitten while her mother didn`t notice.
Then, Zhang made a series of disgusting actions.
First, the kitten was thrown directly into the oven, and the oven was still very hot!
The cat`s abdomen and limbs were severely burned, and large areas of fur were burned because the cat was too young to escape Zhang`s grip.
Then Zhang took the severely scalded kitten back to his room and cruelly pulled her teeth out.
But Zhang`s cruelty did not stop and then cut off the kitten`s toes, causing the kitten to bleed badly.
Yet the madness is not over yet.
After torturing the kitten badly, Zhang then took the cat to the bathroom, trying to flush it into the toilet, drown it and destroy the body.
Fortunately, all this evil, the roommate suddenly entered the bathroom interrupted, the kitten can not be cruel drowning.
After seeing her roommate, Zhang threw the long-inmovable kitten into the nearby bushes, trying to destroy the remains again.
Fortunately, however, the roommate called the police in time, and the police rescued the kitten and took the injured kitten to the pet hospital near Toowong for treatment and care.
Nurse says the cat will be accompanied by such cruelty, the sequelae of the injury, and psychological problems that will accompany the kitten for the rest of her life.
After that, Zhang also went to court because of the cat abusive behavior of defendant.
Zhang also admits to serious animal abuse.
Judge Terry Gardner sentenced Zhang6 to months` imprisonment, but was suspended.
He used three words to describe Zhang`s behavior as "deliberate, cruel and ruthless!"

Zhang did so because he was not accepted by roommates and college peers during school.
Because of being excluded, it led to the practice of cat abuse by Zhang.
In addition, Zhang claimed that he had depression, but that he had not been diagnosed at the time.
His mistreatment of the kitten was also an attempt to make himself feel better.
But what Impressionists want to say is that cat abuse is an established fact no matter what. You don`t like cats, but you can`t do it on purpose!
Such behavior, really humiliates the face of the Chinese students, the face of the vast number of Chinese.
