Come to Australia at the age of 6, get the Australian citizen certificate at the age of 18, have lived in Australia for 56 years, do not have any bad record, but suddenly one day, Cathy (pseudonym) learned Australia government unexpectedly wants to cancel her Australian nationality!

Come to Australia at the age of 6, get the Australian citizen certificate at the age of 18, have lived in Australia for 56 years, do not have any bad record, but suddenly one day, Cathy (pseudonym) learned Australia government unexpectedly wants to cancel her Australian nationality!

The reason is: I`m sorry, we made a mistake about our nationality at that time.

Sent wrong。

Hair. Wrong. It`s over.

Hair! Wrong! That`s it!

Queensland old man has been a citizen of Australia all his life, and is now or may be deported?! Immigration: it was wrong that year.

Cathy, 62, lives in Keynes, an elderly nurse, and Cathy`s father is a World War II veteran.

After the war, her father married Cathy`s mother in Papua, founded a family and had six children.

Although Cathy and her five siblings were born in Papua New Guinea, since Papua New Guinea was an Australian-protected territory at the time, people born there could automatically become Australia`s citizen.

Cathy6 and her five siblings were sent to Queensland boarding school at the age of five and have been living in Australia ever since.

At the age of 18, Cathy began to hold an Australian passport and obtained an Australian citizen certificate in 1985. For decades, Cathy had used Australian passports to vote in elections and had all the Australian citizen rights.

There has never been any doubt that you are an Australian citizen.

However, one day in 2017, Cathy was suddenly informed by the Immigration Service that her Australian citizenship would be cancelled and advised her to apply for a resident`s round trip visa (RRV) to stay in Australia before re-applying for naturalization.

The reason is: the citizen identity sent to her by the Immigration Service was "incorrectly issued").

This reason for anyone to listen to the table!

But to Cathy, in addition to shock, more is grievance and can not understand, why have I done Australia citizen all my life, but suddenly said to cancel their nationality, but also re-apply for naturalization!?
