Rescuers found an arrow in a female kangaroo in northern Melbourne last Saturday and found it too badly injured to be euthanized, Radio 9 reported. Fortunately, a 500g kangaroo in the kangaroo pouch was rescued.

It is reported that last Saturday, a female kangaroo saw an arrow inserted on the shoulder of a female kangaroo in (Greenvale), Greenville, and people turned to wildlife protection agencies for help because of concern.

At the time, however, rescuers did not find the female kangaroo after searching for it, but found another male pouch mouse with an arrow in buttock. The 40-kilogram male kangaroo was rushed to Melbourne Zoo (Melbourne Zoo) for surgery.

On Monday, the Maedon Ranges Wildlife Network`s staff finally found the injured female kangaroo in the area of Greenville, with a small kangaroo in its pouch.

Unfortunately, the female kangaroo had to be euthanized because of serious internal injuries. However, small kangaroos weighing only 500 grams were rescued.

It is a matter of concern that more injured animals may be present in the Greenville area.

Zabinskas (Manfred Zabinskas) of Five Freedoms Animal Rescue, an animal rescue group, says such attacks on animals are disgusting. This behavior does not cause animals to death directly, but it can cause them to be very painful and injured.

At present, the police are investigating the attack on animals. Arrows used to attack kangaroos were also handed over to the police.

Police appeal to people with relevant clues to call the fight against crime hotline at 1800 333 000 report.
