This morning, a hospital in eastern Melbourne received a bomb threat call and all personnel were evacuated in an emergency manner, causing chaos in service at the hospital and the nearby train line, according to Channel 9.

Shortly after 08:30 on Tuesday morning, Melbourne`s Epworth hospital, (Epworth Hospital), received a bomb threat call that emergency evacuated at least 35 people. One of the patients, who had been anesthetized, was preparing for surgery but was forced to evacuate.

The hospital building was inspected and confirmed after 10:15. All patients and staff were evacuated for nearly two hours outside the hospital before being allowed to return.

In addition, during the incident, (Hawthorn Station), the Hawthorne station near the hospital, suspended services, resulting in a number of train line services into chaos.

Nearby Swan Street (Swan Street) is also closed, and 75 trams are affected by two-way services and need to be bypassed.

According to police officer Goodrich (Jo Goodridge), the hospital received two threatening calls around 8 a.m. This morning, the voice of the male should be the same person. One of the calls detailed the location of the bomb.

At present, the police have confirmed that the incident was a prank. No one has been arrested.
