It`s a sad and angry story today: an Australian mother forced her 12-year-old daughter into prostitution, letting her have sex with 200 men a month.
In 2009, the mother, together with pimp boyfriend Devine, coerced her daughter into prostitution for more than a month.
Prostitution took place at Devine`s home in Glenorchy, a northern suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Prostitution is simple and brutal by advertising in newspapers that the 18-year-old girl, named Angela, offers $100 an hour. Then someone comes to the counseling service, and eventually the girl sells the proceeds of her body for drugs.
This was finally discovered in 2010, when the Tasmanic mother was sentenced to 10 years. Her pimp boyfriend, Devine, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The mother has been released on parole from May 22, 2017 to February 21, 2020.
Under the supervision of the community, she sewed products at Royal Hobart Hospital. The state parole board said it would allow her to pass instead of serving her sentence in prison.
