In a recent deadly terrorist attack in Melbourne, a homeless man was hailed as the "(Trolley Man)" in an attempt to block the assailant with a supermarket cart, the Australian News Network reported. However, the cart man is being pursued by police in connection with a series of theft cases.

It is reported that on November 9, Somali-born man Hassan (Hassan Khalif Shire Ali) in Melbourne`s Burke Street car to make arson stabbing case. In an emergency, a 46-year-old man, Rogers (Michael Rogers), pushed a supermarket cart to help police officers subdue Hassan. His heroic behavior has been praised by netizens, known as the "cart man."

However, the state police are currently hunting Rogers (Michael Rogers). He is accused of a series of recent burglaries in CBD and (St Kilda), Melbourne, and a breach of bail rules.

In a conversation with the media last week, Rogers admitted he had a troubled past, saying he had been jailed for stealing a bike and had just been released five weeks ago, according to sources. He also mentioned that he had fought against drug addiction in the past, but now he is trying to change his life.

After his homelessness was revealed, Melbourne Homeless Collective, a charity, raised more than A $ one hundred and forty thousand in less than a week to raise more than A $ one hundred and forty thousand for Rogers on its website GoFundMe.

It is reported that Rogers has a public housing apartment, but he chose to become homeless.

The state police did not comment further on the investigation.
