According to Perth Now, Perth police had previously received reports from residents of Dianella that a rogue drone was tracking residents and was smashing outside the bedroom window of the dwelling. At present, the police have seized a drone.

It is reported that on March 6th, a man in Luanla first noticed that a drone hovered around his house. The man said that the drone often went back and returned, once for 10 minutes. The most recent appearance was on March 8.

In the same month, another woman in the area also said she had seen a drone hovering outside her bedroom window.

On Thursday, Western Australian police (WA Police) said an investigation into the incident was under way. Police have seized several items, including a drone, by searching a house. The drone was sent to the Civil Aviation Safety Agency (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) for investigation.

Speaker Gibson (Peter Gibson) of the Civil Aviation Safety Agency also confirmed that the agency had received the drone and said it would collect evidence of security violations.

Gibson previously said that although there are no privacy regulations related to the use of drones, the situation in Zhala is a clear violation of the agency`s safety regulations.
