Introduction

King Island is an outlying island of (Bass Strait) in the Bess Channel between Tasmania and mainland, Australia. It is administratively affiliated with Tasmania and covers an area of about 1098 square kilometers. The area of Chongming Island, China's third-largest island (about 1200 square kilometers), is similar to that of Shanghai, China's third-largest island.

The scenery of King Island is pleasant, the folk style is simple, the resident of the island is less than 2000 people. Thanks to its unique natural environment, King Island is well known in Australia because of the island's most fertile pastures, which produce top-class food cows, and where cows produce nutritious milk that is especially suitable for cheese. So, King Island's handmade cheese has been a hit on the market for years. Because of the unique geographical location of King Island, seafood is also quite rich, lobster, oyster, Qingkou are all the world's top, visitors can enjoy fresh and rich seafood in the restaurant, but also can do it on their own. King Island's main town, Kerry (Currie), is located on the west coast. Its lighthouse has been converted to a museum, with several top golf courses near the sea and often dedicated trips by golfers.

Wildlife on the island is also very active, especially in the 6800-hectare Lavinia Nature Reserve in the northeast, where platypus can be seen. King Island does not have a tourist ferry, visitors can only arrive by plane, and there is a small airport on the island,: King Island airport, (King Island Airport, code,: KNS), to and from the Victorian capital, Melbourne, Flights between (Launceston), Tasmania's second-largest city, and Winyad (Wynyard), Tasmania.
