Introduction

Black Mountain (Kalkajaka) National Park (Black Mountain (Kalkajaka) National Park) is located in (Shire of Cook), north-east Queensland, about 1980 kilometers by car from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, and about 30 kilometers by car from Cooktown, a small town on the Cape York Peninsula, (Cape York Peninsula). It covers an area of 7.81 square kilometers.

Black Mountain (Kalkajaka) National Park is part of the World Natural Heritage Queensland humid Tropics (Wet Tropics of Queensland, 1988) assessed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and is located in the northernmost part of the World Heritage site.

Inside Black Mountain (Kalkajaka) National Park stands the majestic black granite boulder, range, a formidable rock, some of which are house-sized, rambling, and seemingly crumbling. Neither the principle of gravity nor logical thinking can explain this phenomenon. The confluence of wet tropical rainforests and drier steppe woodlands in national parks is a haven for wildlife, with the perfect combination of flora and various landforms, providing shelter for a wide variety of wildlife. (Kalkajaka) (, which means "land of spears," is an important gathering place for the (Eastern Kuku Yalanji) Aborigines of the Kukuyani people in the east, and the inspiration for many dream stories.

Visitors can visit the scenic spots to the east of the Stonehenge Peak in Montenegro to see the beauty of Montenegro, with signs for visitors to understand the geology, natural environment, culture and history of the region, and no other access to the park.

Note: camping is prohibited in the park, and the risk of climbing Stonehenge can cause damage. Please do not try. Someone has been killed or injured while climbing Montenegro.
