Tidal River

Tidal River VIC 3960, Australia

Introduction of Tidal River

Tidal River is located at the southernmost tip of Victoria in (Wilsons Promontory National Park), Cape Wilson National Park.

What is unique about Tidal River is that the river turns brown because it produces a chemical called tannic acid, and the river has some huge roundstones that have been eroded by the river for a long time. With campsites, restaurants and supermarkets on the side of Tidal River, it is the largest camping camp in Wilson's Point National Park, a hub where wildlife can be easily seen at night, with a large number of cabins and grass huts to rest in, and it will be tight during the peak season. Please book in advance at http://www.parkstay.vic.gov.au/wilsons.
