Karlu / Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve is located in the interior of the central part of the Northern Territory, about 1080 kilometers from Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory.

Devil Marble (Devils Marbles, also known as Devil Stonehenge, is an ancient rock layer that fell from the vast blue sky of (Barkly Tablelands), Buckley Heights, with huge granite boulders, some of which balance at seemingly dangerous strange angles and seem unaffected by gravity. These boulders are scattered in a wide shallow valley 95 kilometers south of (Tennant Creek). Devil marble is a holy place called Carous in the language of the ancient Valumen (Warumungu), a local aboriginal.

Devil marble is a group of granite boulders about 4 meters high and 13 to 33 meters wide, covering an area of about 1802 hectares. The local Turkish people are more used to calling them "Kavi Calvin." Devil marble superimposed with each other to form piles of stone of different sizes. Due to years of weathering, most boulders are round, in local Turkish legends. They are called "giant eggs of rainbows".

The strange terrain of devil marble was formed millions of years ago, is still divided and eroded, and each visit will find its unique landscape after change, is the most famous landmark scenic spot in the area, tourists can walk along the trail, through explanation cards to understand how granite strata withstand the erosion of wind and rain, making it different from the surrounding sandstone. A short self-help tour can be carried out through walking paths and informative guidance signs to visit this fascinating geographical wonder.

Karlu / Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve has a beautiful jungle camping area and fireplace facilities, where you can spend the night and enjoy the best sunset. If you don't want to camp, the nearest residence is (Wauchope)., a small town 30 kilometers away.
