Introduction of The Village

The Village's small town, Loxton., in (Riverland Region), North-East South Australia.

The Village consists of 45 well-restored historic buildings and sites that depict and preserve the history and lifestyle of settlers in early valley areas. Into the farmhouse, visitors can visit the early life here, in the "living village" into the old days; With many exhibitions and functioning machines in the farm, including bakeries, wool shears, tractors and blacksmith shops, visitors will have a sense of traversing back to the late 19th century, when the town of Loxton was in its infancy.

The Village was built in 1970 by the then branch of the Loxton National Trust, the (Loxton National Trust) branch. The (Murray River) exhibition of the Murray River floods in 1956 is located in a number of buildings, with a collection of amazing photographs.
