Introduction of Yaburara Heritage Trail

A small coastal town of Yaburara Heritage Trail (Jaburara Heritage Trail) in (Pilbara region), northwest Western Australia.

Yaburara Heritage Trail is a walking path for a self-help tour, documenting the tens of thousands of years of living on this land by the (Jaburara Aboriginal Tribe), an aboriginal tribe of Cabrara in the Pilbala region. At the same time, the path also shows the modern history of Karratha dating back to the 1860s.

Yaburara Heritage Trail, visitors can explore fascinating indigenous stone carvings and handicrafts scattered among numerous Aboriginal sites, where more than 10000 stone carvings have been discovered, dating back thousands of years. Yaburara Heritage Trail has several viewing platforms, can view Karratha and the surrounding area picturesque continuous scenery, the information rich plaque card emphatically introduces the view which can be seen from the viewing platform.

In addition, Yaburara Heritage Trail has identified several additional forks, allowing energetic visitors to continue to wander, enjoy more beautiful scenery and visit rare indigenous sites. Walking is not easy, there are many steep slopes, about three hours to complete the walk, it is recommended to carry the right shoes and plenty of drinking water.
