Qantas founder Museum (Qantas Founders Museum) is located in the small town of Longreach., inland in central Queensland.
Longreach is one of the birthplaces of (Qantas), the Australian airline's founder Museum, not-for-profit, opened in 1996 to showcase and document Australian aviation history. The museum houses four of the world's most important civil aviation aircraft: the PBY Katrina seaplane, Douglas DC-3, Boeing 707 and Boeing 747, as well as full-size copies of some important aircraft. There are also restaurants in the museum.
