Introduction of Cobbold Gorge

Cobbold Gorge is located in (Far North Queensland), a remote northern part of Queensland, about 1930 kilometers by car from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, and about 460km from the northern gateway to (Great Barrier Reef) on the Great Barrier Reef. The famous tourist city of Cairns is about 460km by car.

Deep in the heart of (Gulf Savannah) in Savannah Bay, Cobbold Gorge is an oasis hidden in the desert, rich in wildlife resources. Cobbold Gorge is an ancient and unique narrow valley with a creek at the bottom, lined with strange rocks. Stretching 30 meters, the narrowest place is only 2 meters wide.

In order to protect the fragile environment, tourists can only explore deep into the canyon under the guidance of a guide. Located deep in the canyon, (Cobbold Gorge Village), the village of Cobbold Gorge, is a hub for tourists to choose from three different tourist routes (Canyon, ranch and sightseeing), along with restaurants and bars. Facilities such as swimming pools and accommodations ranging from camping areas to deluxe suites.
