Don't confuse Ballandean Pyramid with a natural rock formation called the Pyramid (Pyramids) in (Girraween National Park), Jilavin National Park, not far away., Ballandean Pyramid is an artificial pyramid, about 15 meters tall and weighing about 5000 tons, made of local granite.
Ballandean Pyramid is a private property of a local vineyard, (Henty Estate), which is about 25 metres from the nearest road and is not allowed to climb without permission, but is visible on the road.
