Lake Mary Ann

Lake Mary Ann, Warumungu NT 0852, Australia

Introduction of Lake Mary Ann

Lake Mary Ann (Lake Mary Ann, also known as Tingkkarli, is located in the northern outskirts of Tennant Creek, a small inland town in the central part of the Northern Territory, about 5 kilometers from the heart of Tennant Creek.

Lake Mary Ann is a lake intercepted by a man-made dam, originally built to supply water to Tennant Creek, with landscape grasslands on one side and natural jungle on the other. Lake Mary Ann is a cool and quiet oasis in the desolate interior of the Northern Territory. A picnic barbecue offers an ideal place for local residents and tourists to swim, canoeing, hiking, picnicking, etc.
