Zara Clark Museum

36 Mosman St, Charters Towers City QLD 4820, Australia

Introduction of Zara Clark Museum

Zara Clark Museum is located in Townsville, the fourth largest city on Queensland's northeast coast.

Owned and operated by the National Trust, (National Trust), Zara Clark Museum has a large collection of photo, equipment and other memorabilia related to the history of the Townsville area, depicting the golden age of (Charters Towers) 's passing away in Chatesburg. Volunteers and staff are warm and friendly and will be happy to share their special experiences with you and take you to the historic Burns Philippe (Burns Philp) building in 1888 to learn about all kinds of equipment. You can also request a view of the Flying Fox [Lampson Antenna Cash transfer system (Lampson Aerial Cash System) at the old site of the (Pollards) building in Peraz], which has long been popular with visitors. One of the most common feelings of visitors visiting Zara Clark Museum is "Oh, I remember!"; the collection of objects in the museum will surely awaken your wonderful memories. In addition, the museum also exhibits other artifacts, bringing you back to the ups and downs of Chattersburg more than 130 years ago. So far, no one has been able to determine the characteristics and dates of some of the collections in the museum. History enthusiasts and collectors can challenge them. Volunteers and employees are so friendly that they are not only happy to show you the collection. You will also be warmly introduced to the strange and charming collection of other objects.

The museum also features an exhibition of Charles Wallace military (Charles Wallace Military), featuring the glorious history of Chatsburg's battle from the Boer (Boer) War to the Vietnam War, in a more solemn tone. One of the exhibits of World War I was particularly sad. It was a pair of socks half-woven. When a mother heard the news of her son's death, the socks in her hands fell to the ground. Now, 100 years have passed. The socks are still on display here.
