Port Campbell is a small town on Victoria's famous Ocean Road, (Great Ocean Road), about 100km from the previous small town of Apollo Bay, (Apollo Bay), on Ocean Road. The most famous attractions on Ocean Road are the twelve disciples (Tweleve Apostles), Lockheed Canyon (Loch Ard Gorge) and the London Bridge (London BrideArch) in (Port Campbell National Park), the Port Campbell National Park near the South China Sea, while Port Campbell is the nearest town. So many self-driving tourists regard this as the end of Ocean Road, to Port Campbell, which means that the trip to Oceania Road is about to return.
With only a few hundred people living in Port Campbell, one of the most important places to stay on Dayang Road, has a lot to offer. Compared with the small town of Ron (Lorne), Apollo (Apollo Bay), which is on Oceania Road, it is not busy enough, and the number of accommodations is also small, which can reveal the problem of lack of accommodation during the peak season of tourism. There are not many restaurants, and there are only a few dinners. And it doesn't have a big supermarket. The nearest big supermarket is in the inland town of Timbon., 15 kilometers away. For visitors who want to enjoy sunrise and sunset at the 12 disciples or nearby attractions, this night's accommodation is obviously not a good choice because it is a waste of time. But in any case, you have to stay here all night, and it's hard to make up for it anywhere else.
Port Campbell itself has a good swimming beach, Two Mile Bay is a good surfing beach. The town is also the entrance to the river Campbells Creek. Across the river to the west, there is a good viewing platform, Scenic Town Lookout, overlooking towns, harbours and oceans. From below the observatory, from the estuary to the coast, there is a very good short hiking route.
