Kuranda

Introduction of Kuranda

Kuranda is a famous tourist town in the tropical rain forest on the northeast coast of Queensland, to the east from the northern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef (Great Barrier Reef), the famous tourist city Cairns about 26 kilometers away.

Kuranda was first established as a train station in 1850, as logging and mining became the main local industry at that time, Kuranda served as the only transportation hub in the region at that time to transport and store goods; to provide accommodation for persons travelling; and to promote the positive role of local Turkish culture. The Kuranda is named after the Turkish language, with a resident population of less than a thousand people, but it is a small town with a reputation, and more than half a million tourists from home and abroad visit the Kuranda and its surrounding rainforest area in train, cars or aerial cable cars every year.

Kuranda is a vibrant small town surrounded by rainforests, and the journey to Kuranda itself is a highlight. Visitors can take Kuranda ancient sightseeing train (Kuranda ' s Historic Railway), bus or self-driving, arrive along the scenic Kuranda road (Kuranda Road) or take the world's longest rainforest sightseeing cable car: aerial cable car (Skyrail) to enjoy the magnificent view of the rainforest canopy.

First primitive style, by the late 1960s, the rise of another way of life, Kuranda experienced a long period of change. The historic old buildings in the village now open a variety of upscale shops, including restaurants, cafes and bars. A languid atmosphere remains, but its unique style and elegance make it stand out from the many scenic spots and tourist attractions of the Keynesian highlands; Kuranda offers a variety of accommodations, comfortable family hotels, well-managed multi-choice accommodations, caravan camping camps ,1920s-style old hotels, gorgeous resorts, backpackers youth hostels, and everything. Guests may as well spend some time walking Kuranda top-notch natural attractions to see koalas, butterflies, native and exotic birds, kangaroos and reptiles. Many wonderful walkways winding through the spectacular tropical rain forest, the scenery after the flood is more beautiful and shocking.
