Kalgoorlie

Introduction of Kalgoorlie

Kalgoorlie is a small inland town in central Western Australia, about 600km from the Western Australian capital, Perth. Kalgoorlie is a very traditional western town where gold mining is a pillar industry.

When Kalgoorlie was founded in 1895, when the gold mine was discovered here, the imposing British buildings in the center of the city reminded visitors of the prosperity and wealth of a century ago. Kalgoorlie had a dry, water-strapped climate. With all the water being delivered by Perth through a 600-kilometer pipeline, the water is expensive and its gardens are generally inferior to other Australian cities, but in a sense it is also in line with the rugged image of the town of Kalgoorlie Gold. Full of primitive vitality, like an outdoor tears like rain working sexy and charming Australian man.

In 1989, Kalgoorlie merged with its southern town of Boulder (Boulder) to become a new city: Kalgoorlie- Boulder (City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, usually referred to as Kalgoorlie, which also includes the Boulder area.
