BHP Billiton`s cargo line, train, was derailed by man-made derailment after a 92-kilometer unattended ride. The company has suspended all iron ore trains in Western Australia.
The BHP Billiton train had 268 carriages carrying iron ore, Australia`s Transport Safety Agency said, and train left him Monday morning when the driver got out of the car to check on one of the cars.
The train is on BHP Billiton`s Newman-to-Port Hedland line, a remote part of the Pilbara region.
The 92 km took about 50 minutes before being derailed artificially at a distance of Port Hedland120 km.
