Tony Abbott, Australia`s former prime minister, expressed his views on the "harsh reality" that Australia faces as a result of African immigration, the Daily Mail reported on July 26.
Tony said Sudanese immigrants were "difficult to integrate into the local community" because they were violent, and Australia`s acceptance of them was "creating trouble for itself".
"this is a gang problem in Africa, and the government should recognize and acknowledge that Melbourne does exist."
Laa Chol, a 19-year-old girl, had just died as a result. Recent crime data show that Sudanese in Victoria are 57 times more likely to commit violent robberies than ordinary people.
