A Golden Hound in Victoria has been hailed as a hero because it warmed a little koala and saved his life, the Daily Mail reported.
Earlier this week, McGinnon (Kerry McKinnon), a resident of Skas Downey (Strathdownie), Victoria, was surprised to find that a little koala was leaning on her home`s golden hound, Asha (Asha), to keep warm.
The 45-year-old mother speculated that the little koala might have fallen out of her mother`s nursery bag at night and dispersed. Confused she slipped into her house through the back hallway and leaned against it to warm up after finding Asha.
McGinnon said the night temperature dropped to 5 degrees, if the helpless little koala did not meet Asha, it may not be able to survive the cold night. It may also be attacked by animals such as foxes. Asha gave little koala warmth and saved his life.

McGinnon also said that when she tried to hold the young koala off Asha`s back, the young koala also made a disgruntled cry, as if she did not want to leave Asha.
At present, a veterinarian has examined the little koala`s health and was taken care of by a koala caretaker, who will then be released back into the wild.
The golden-haired hound, Asha, has also become popular on social media because of her warm-hearted behavior.
