(Xinhua reporter Xin Yee Enyo reported) the case of Xu Longwei, also known as the Tommy) sexual invasion female model, of Xu Longwei, a wealthy Chinese businessman in Sydney, attracted much attention because both sides met at a private dinner hosted by the Chinese ecommerce giant Liu Qiangdong. Xu Longwei was convicted of seven counts of assault after several days of hearing. On the afternoon of September 21, the case was heard in Sydney`s Tang Ning Central Court, (Downing Centre Court). Surprisingly and very rare, however, Xu`s defence counsel, Weber (Barrister Robert Webb), was not present, so the judge announced a postponement until Oct. 12.
At 14:00 on September 21, Tang Ning`s central court gathered a number of people concerned about the case, including Xu Longwei`s father, partner and son. His father, dressed in a light blue casual suit, said he had come to Sydney from home a few days ago in a nervous mood, but said he "believed that court would have a fair trial." Xu Longwei`s companion, dressed in black and holding a baby two or three months old, sat in the auditorium and pacified the child from time to time.
After the trial, Xu Longwei dressed in green prison clothes came to court, the interpreter in his side for translation. However, shortly after the hearing, Xu Longwei`s defence lawyer said that lawyer Webb had not been present, nor could he be reached, and asked for the adjournment of the court to be resumed until 14:35. After 14:55, everyone was surprised to learn that the barrister was still not present. The defence lawyer asked for a postponement of sentence. The 1.5-hour hearing ended in futile discussions with the judge and the prosecution, which is scheduled to pronounce hearings again on Oct. 12.
Another point of contention in court is the legality of the victim`s statement. The defence argues that the victim`s statement, translated into English by his friend, remains doubtful whether it represents his true will. The prosecution, on the other hand, believes that the statement, endorsed by the victim`s signature, represents her true will. The judge then accepted the prosecution`s point of view.

At the July trial, the jury and judge heard that plaintiff, a 20-year-old model at the time of the murder, met a woman named Coco as a bikini model at a dressing party on a yacht on December 10, 2015. Invited by Coco, plaintiff attended Liu Qiangdong`s dinner and met Xu Longwei. After being drunk at the dinner, plaintiff was taken to Hotel Shangri La Santa Monica by Xu Longwei, who was subjected to sexual invasion, obscene and beatings.
And the luxury apartment Stamford Residences, the venue of the party, was revealed to have sold for A $16.2 million in June 2015, setting the record for that year`s apartment price, and the buyer was Zhang Zetian (Zhang Zetian). The three-story penthouse, which has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, has a huge floor window that gives you a view of Sydney Harbour. In June 2017, the media revealed that Zhang Zetian was offering the Stamford Residences for more than A $18 million in the hope that it would cost more than A $18 million. The beginning and end of Xu Longwei`s incident
On December 26, 2015, a young female model was drunk at a private dinner hosted by Liu Qiangdong`s penthouse in (The Rocks), rock district, Sydney, and later was repeatedly held by Xu Longwei, a Chinese businessman, at a private dinner held by Xu Longwei, a Chinese businessman.
The case began on July 9, 2018.
On July 23, 2018, Xinzhou District Court (NSW District Court) convicted Xu Longwei of 7 counts. Including obscene, beatings, having sex without the woman`s permission and knowing she didn`t.

The jury heard during the trial that plaintiff was a model when she was 20 years old. She knew a woman named Coco when she was a bikini model at a dressing party on a yacht on December 10, 2015. Later introduced by Coco Xu Longwei (Longwei Xu, transliteration.
It is said that Coco has repeatedly invited plaintiff to "make certain friends," these people "from China, very rich." Plaintiff rejected Coco several times, but was invited by Coco to attend her brother`s "birthday party" on December 26, 2016.
During the cross-examination, defense lawyer Weber (Robert Web) noted that Coco had told plaintiff through social app that the guests at the party were "very high-end, very rich." Plaintiff said Coco "she just said it was her brother," but agreed that Coco had told her guests "handsome gold."
Xu and others picked up plaintiff that day in a white range rover driven by a full-time driver, (Range Rover), and took her to Liu Qiangdong`s luxury apartment.
Plaintiff said that many male guests on the same day to her wine, but the host Liu Qiangdong did not. She told the jury that she was so drunk at the eight-man dinner that she could hardly stand or sit up.
Defense lawyer Weber claimed that plaintiff had "seriously and deliberately" exaggerated the extent of his drunkenness, but plaintiff denied it.
The jury heard that Xu Longwei said he would take the woman home, but eventually took her to Room 1319 of Hotel Shangri La Santa Monica, where (the Rocks) was staying in the rocky area, in an attempt to force her to have sex with herself.
"when Tommy tried to rape me, she said she would buy me a boat, but I refused," she said in a long-distance video link.
Plaintiff said Xu also threw her mobile phone aside, forced her clothes off, pressed her on her body, and rape her with her finger. "he kept pressing on me, putting me out of breath. I`m scared, I don`t know what to do. " It is said that Xu Longwei at that time also slapped the woman in the face.
Defense lawyers said that after plaintiff refused to have sex with Xu Longwei, Xu Longwei once said, "if you don`t want to, why do you want to go back to the hotel?" Then Xu Longwei stayed in the bathroom for 30 minutes.
"when you made it clear to Tommy that you didn`t want to have sex, he was very rude to you and then got out of bed," Weber told plaintiff. "there was nothing going on between you."
Plaintiff responded: "this is not a fact."
It is reported that the whole incident after about an hour. After falling asleep at about 11:00 that night, Xu was able to escape the room in the light of her cell phone and ask her boyfriend to drive outside the hotel to pick her up, the couple reported to the police station, the model said. During the conversation with the detective, the woman was taken to the hospital many times after vomiting.
After the police rushed to Xu Longwei`s hotel room, Xu Longwei agreed to accept judicial expertise. After wiping Xu`s hand, he found the model`s DNA..
In a police interview video broadcast in court, Xu Longwei denied the sexual invasion woman. In the morning of December 27, 2015, Xu told agents at the Sydney Urban Police Department: "I don`t know why she did this to me." I didn`t do that. "

On July 10, 2018, when the female model was cross-examined by a defense lawyer, she agreed that although she did not want to, she was encouraged and "even forced to drink".
"I remember the owner didn`t force me to drink, but other men forced me," she said.
"I`m the one who`s been encouraged (to drink) the most."
Plaintiff said he was very drunk and fell asleep on the table.
Defense lawyer Weber claimed that plaintiff himself to drink, but also repeatedly asked to pour wine. But this statement was denied by plaintiff.
Weber also said plaintiff had held Xu Longwei, but plaintiff tearfully replied, "No, I didn`t."
On July 11, 2018, plaintiff testified in court that a male friend named Sam had subsequently tried to persuade her not to sue Xu Longwei.
Plaintiff said: "(Sam) asked me why I want to sue Tommy, if I insist (sue Xu Longwei) will make life threat."
Plaintiff said Sam took her to a lawyer, who showed her a statement stating that she had volunteered to have sex with Xu Longwei, but she refused to sign it.
Plaintiff also said in an interview with prosecutor Talbot (Sarah Talbert) that Sam later said she would give her A $ one hundred thousand in exchange for a change in her statement, but she also refused.
On July 17, 2018, Gao Li (Li Gao, a former student of Xu Longwei`s sexual partner, testified in court.
Gao Li, who appeared as a defense witness, called Xu Longwei a gentleman and "the obedient side" in bed.
"he pays for everything. He pays for the girl, opens the door for the girl, and blocks the elevator door for the girl. I think he thinks of himself as a gentleman. "
Gao told the jury that she and Xu met at a mutual friend`s birthday party and went back to her place together, who had refused to make any further moves. "as soon as I said`no`," Gory said during the cross-examination, "he left."
