On Saturday, two Qantas (Qantas) 737 airliners collided at Perth airport at (Perth Airport) airport, Taiwan 9 reported. The Australian Traffic Safety Authority, (Australian Transport Safety Bureau), said it was a serious accident. Aviation safety experts are currently investigating the matter.
On Saturday, Australian Airlines flight QF567 arrived in Perth from Sydney and entered the runway of the ready-to-take-off flight QF582 on its way to the terminal.
Control officials at the airport tower warned flight QF567 that emergency braking measures had been taken by the flight crew to avoid a collision and the departure of flight QF582 had been suspended as a result.
It is reported that affected by the emergency brake, some passengers on the QF567 hit the head into the front seat.
Jenkins (Kylie Jenkins), a passenger on the plane, said the plane had just landed and was sliding off the runway. Passengers sitting on the left side of the plane were shocked to see another Qantas passenger plane coming towards them. As a result of the emergency brake, her daughter hit the front seat on the head.
A spokesman for Qantas said the company was currently working with the Australian Transportation Safety Agency to investigate the incident.
The Australian Traffic Safety Authority said the investigation was very broad and could take about a year to complete. The agency will interview the crew, the air traffic controllers on duty at the tower on that day, and will investigate passenger aircraft and radar historical data, recordings of conversations between the crew and air traffic controllers, and other relevant information. If serious safety problems are identified in the investigation, the agency will immediately notify the parties concerned to take appropriate measures.
