A man in southern Sydney accused the police of breaking his arm while arresting him.
Shane Dwyer was arrested in December 2017 in an apartment building in Eastlakes. The arrests were captured by a police officer`s camera.
At the time, police received a false alarm about a knife-wielding man in Shane Dwyer`s apartment building. They found Shane Dwyer`s home and asked a man named "Paul" to come out.
But there is no one in Shane Dwyer`s house called "Paul".
When Shane Dwyer opened the door, the police told him that there were now cameras documenting the capture and that he had been arrested.

As you can see from the video, 48-year-old Shane Dwyer is thrown to the ground and can be seen backwards.
The police forced Dwyer`s arm around his back.
Just then, Dwyer said his arm was broken.
But Senior Police Officer Ben Vizzone ignored him and continued to handcuff him.
"you should go catch people who should be caught," Dwyer said as he was caught.

On Wednesday, Judge Jennifer Atkinson dismissed police allegations of intimidation and arrest by Dwyer.
She now recommends an investigation into Snr Cst Vizzone, adding that she thinks "[the arrest] is very worrisome."

Outside the court, Dwyer said it was a relief for him not to consider the police charges. "I`m glad the judge understands," he said.
His lawyer, Sophie Toomey, says new state police are responsible for all their actions.
Dwyer said what happened to the arrest was a police brutality, and although he respected most of the police officers, he really did not have a slightest preference for the two officers who arrested him.
