State police officers found an injured koala by the side of the road early Friday morning and took it back to the police station, Radio 7 reported. A warm-hearted picture shows that the koala is wearing a police cap and is addicted to police officers!

Police officers found an injured koala in (Caramut Road), Calamat Road, near (Warnambool), Warner, around 3 a.m. Friday.

Senior police officer Kew (Greg Kew) said he noticed a pool of blood on the ground behind the koala and found it had been hit by a car with blood around his eyes and claw.

Afraid of scaring the koala, Kew did not grab it directly, but walked behind it and patted it gently, and the koala seemed pleased.

Finally, Kew picked up the koala from behind and took it back to the police station. At the police station, he gave the koala a towel and lent the cap to the koala.

A lot of people in the police department like this lovely koala, some call it "Teddy Bear Officer (Constable Teddy Bear)."

Kiew said they then called wildlife rescue organizations and hours later, staff came to take koala away.

On Friday, the state police posted a photo of the koala and Kew online. In the photo, the lovely koala is still wearing a police cap.

It is reported that the koala was taken to the veterinary treatment, after recovery will be released to the wild.
