Many witnesses and police say that before the incident, the man abused his daughter and cried out. Then the man pulled the little girl`s hat and dragged her to the safety post.

The man was arrested and imprisoned for 22 days four hours after the incident took place on June 27.

The man`s lawyer told the court that the man did so because he had four children under the age of five, stressed and tired to take care of them.

The man`s father said in a written certificate that the man had been unable to emerge from the shadow of his brother`s death in 1997 and that he had never been violent with his children before.

Judge Maxine Baldwin described the man`s behaviour as "disgusting" and "disgusting," saying he needed to grow up.

Baldwin also said the man`s behaviour was unforgivable.

The court also learned that the man had been charged with ordinary assault and sentenced to a suspended sentence (no longer allowed to commit a crime during probation).

In the end, the man was sentenced to prison-six months in prison for the "child abuse" incident and another 15 months in prison. He is expected to be released on parole on January 26, 2019.

Child protection services were also involved in the investigation.
