A Vietnamese man was charged yesterday after NSW police seized A $600000 worth of hydroponic marijuana plants in a house in (Eastwood), Sydney, according to the NSW police website.

In September 2017, detectives from the New State fight Crime Command drug and guns formed a "Kelkey (Kilkee)" task force to investigate Sydney`s hydroponics marijuana network.

After investigation, they found a criminal gang renting property in a number of densely populated residential areas in Sydney, turning it into a "marijuana house".

In December, investigators targeted and unraveled 14 "marijuana houses" and seized marijuana plants estimated to be worth more than A $11.3 million in the black market.

Less than 8: 30 yesterday morning, detectives from the "Kelkey" task force again launched an operation to execute a warrant for a house in Issy. Police subsequently found 72 marijuana plants in four of the rooms and seized 330 grams of marijuana in the refrigerator.

A 47-year-old Vietnamese man was arrested and taken to the Ryder police station in (Ryde Police Station).

The man was accused of planting prohibited plants, as well as unauthorized electricity and waste of electricity. He was denied bail and appeared in the Baohuo District Court today.

At the same time, he is suspected of "black people", pending review by the Australian Border Service.
