This week, a cow truck crashed into a car in central Kunzhou, killing the female driver of the car, and 70 cows were euthanized because of injuries.

Further south, last month, a truck carrying a haystack accidentally capsized on the south bank of Ipswich, killing the male driver of the truck.

So far this year, the southern part of Kunzhou has seen the largest number of road deaths, killing 37 people, 10 more than last year, and 21 more in Brisbane, 5 more than last year.

A motorcycle rider and a cyclist died Friday in two car crashes in southeastern Queensland.
