By 1 am Thursday ,41 places, including Byron、Ballina、Lismore、Richmond Valley and Glenn Innes County, will be popular with Queenslanders.
Residents from designated areas can enter Queensland as long as they fill in the border pass and have not appeared in the new crown pneumonia hot spot in the past 14 days.

Gold Coast police chief Mark Wheeler (Mark Wheeler) said traffic after the restrictions at border checkpoints were relaxed, traffic was congested for up to an hour and owners should be prepared for more similar situations.

Chief Supt Wheeler (Wheeler) said that the additional 15 police officers would replace 60 soldiers who had withdrawn from the border, but he trusted that the checkpoint would have sufficient staff to cope with the additional traffic.
