Large parts of Sydney and New State spent the hottest November night in history last night, recording a minimum night temperature of 25.3 degrees, breaking the November 1967 record of 24.8 degrees.

Parts of sydney, including the central business district CBD the centre of the city, reached 40 degrees on saturday, while temperatures in large parts of western new state, south australia and northern vizhou approached 45 degrees.
