Boys` schools are the least popular with Australian parents, girls` schools are the most popular!

In some states, parents are forced to send their children to single-sex schools if they want their children to receive public education.

Nathalie Steinmetz, who lives in the Kingsford district of eastern Sydney, says the only schools for her two children to choose from are Randwick Boys High and Randwick Girls High.

Ms. Steinmetz said she would rather sell her current house and move to the new school district than send her son to a boys` school for an education.

Why on earth is a boys` school so annoying?

Australian mothers hate unisexual schools.

There are still some unisexual public schools in public education in New State, Victoria, South Australia and Tazhou. But as parents are keen to choose mixed schools, the enrollment model of these unisexual schools has increasingly become a headache for the Ministry of Education.

"my point is that this is too sad for students because they missed the opportunity to participate," Ms. Steinmetz said.

"I believe my son needs to learn how to grow up and play a role in a female environment, and I think we see the importance of this for our diversity, the inclusiveness of the workplace and the Metoo movement."

``I think, as a government, we support some kind of gender segregation, but I don`t think educational segregation is appropriate for me. ``

Instead of attending a local community school, her daughter Maddy traveled 10 kilometers across the city to a mixed school.

Ms. Steinmetz insisted that she would not send her son Coby to a nearby Randwick Boys High, unless the school turned into a co-educational school for boys and girls, a plan that the New State Department of Education is actively considering.

The Ministry of Education is investigating the proposed change in the parents of the region, but is strongly opposed by the girls` parents, so the proposed scheme is to retain the girls` school and to change the male to the same.

The problem is common in many areas, where single-sex secondary schools are the only option, and mixed schools near the school district are packed with boys because many parents refuse to send their sons to boys` schools.

Generally speaking, girls` schools are still very popular, while boys` schools are trying to recruit students!

Public boys` schools fall out of favo

Single sex school education used to be the preferred model for elite private schools in many countries.

But in recent years, many private boys` schools have been converted to mixed schools, including The Armidale School in tablelands, the new state of Marist College, on the north coast of Barker College, and Haileybury College., a private school in Melbourne.

Dr. Phillip Heath, the head of Barker College, said a longitudinal study found that his school`s full-sex education for men and women was well-founded (the school received girls from the middle of the 1970s to high school).

"College life and off-campus life are positively preparation for the future," he said. "it`s a very positively social experience."

"even if you think boys and girls learn differently, they should learn separately."

There are 45 single-sex secondary schools in the new state, and parents are calling for accelerated co-education. Katherine Wake, executive of Summer Hill Public School P / C, is part of the plan.

"parents don`t want their children to be classified."

Girls` schools are still hot first.

There is no opposite trend in girls` schools to accept boys.

Loren Bridge, executive officer of alliance (Alliance of girls schools Australasia), an Australian girls` school, said:

"We will promote more single sex schools because we think girls are doing better in a single sex environment."

"in girls` schools, girls are encouraged to do whatever they want without any unconscious or gender bias."

Freya Allen, a student in Brisbane, started his preparatory studies at Somerville House., a private girls` school.

"I think when there are a lot of girls around you who want to support you, you also want to support them, and you and them will make a good connection," she said.

Girls` schools are more conducive to girls` study.

In the classroom where there are no boys, it is easier for girls to learn better!

A recent Terry Fitzsimmons survey at the University of Queensland found that after the age of nine, girls` confidence began to decline, but if they went to girls` school, the opposite was true.

The study shows that girls` leadership positions in girls` schools and their active participation in team sports are factors that foster their confidence.

But Dr Fitzsimmons says Australia does not have more research on the pros and cons of single-sex and co-educational education.

A large number of international studies have been carried out, including in more than 20 countries in 2014, and found that there is little difference in academic results between coeducation and single-sex education.

In the new state, the results of college entrance examination students are another important factor in parents` assessment of school suitability.

Last year, 23 of the top 50 schools in New State HSC college entrance examination were single-sex girls` schools and 10 were boys` schools. The number of girls in the top 150 schools is almost twice that of boys.

From this performance, girls in girls` schools are more conducive to achieving higher academic achievements!
