It is reported that on Friday, a 36-year-old Malaysian man boarded an airliner from Kuala Lumpur to arrive at Perth airport in (Perth Airport). Australian Border Guard personnel stopped him to open the bag for inspection. As a result, child exploitation materials were found on his cell phone, including a video depicting a child in sexual abuse.
The man`s cell phone was confiscated and his tourist visa was cancelled. He was acciused, a convicted importer of prohibited goods, appeared in (Perth Magistrates Court), Perth District Court, on Saturday.
Newman (Emma Newman), the Australian Border Agency`s Western Australian regional commander, said bringing children into the country with exploitative materials could be punishable by up to 10 years in prison and / or a fine of A $ five hundred and twenty five thousand.
