A hand sanitizer sold at the company's gas station will be removed because alcohol concentration is found to be inadequate.

Consumer rights groups Choice conducted three rounds of hand disinfectant tests on multiple brands a day ago to determine whether the product reached the recommended 60% alcohol concentration limit.

Among the 29 products tested, only the 500 ml bottle disinfectant sold by the company's gas station was not up to standard. The test found that the hand disinfectant had only 52 percent alcohol, but the label claimed 75 percent alcohol.

Choice said :" We have contacted the distributors of the product White Knight Sanitation Pty Ltd, asked them to comment. It is a subsidiary of Common Oil. "

"And they told us that the product was made by Teddie Group Pty Ltd. The company contracted to produce White Knight hand disinfectant. "

They also informed us that they had previously repeatedly checked the ethanol content in the disinfectant produced by the manufacturer and found that it was consistent with the information provided by the manufacturer. After learning of our findings, they also contacted Teddie Group. Teddie Group insists the product contains at least 75% alcohol. "
