Sturbs (Colin Stubs), the former director of the Australian Open, and Clive Benson-Brown, the superdriver who lived in the Sherbrook (Sherbrooke), were listed for sale and traded in just six days.
According to real estate website Realestate, the well-known Sherbrook Manor (Sherbrooke Manor), a five-mansion at (Sherbrooke Rd) 3 Sherbrook Road in eastern Melbourne, was successfully traded on May 7. The specific transaction price of the manor was not made public, and it is reported that it is in the range of A $1.85 million to A $1.98 million.
Former Australian Open director Sturbs, who was the owner of Sherbrook Manor, visited the estate again during a recent open visit.
"Stubbs obviously misses the estate," said real estate agent Bell (Elliot Bell). "he had tears in his eyes because he had too many memories in this place. He also laughed and said he wanted to buy it back."
Bell pointed out that Sherbrook real estate trading activity is quite low, which means that when a rare home for sale, buyers scramble to be extremely fierce.
Sherbrook had only two real estate deals last year, according to CoreLogic, a real estate market research firm.
According to Bell, the final buyer of Sherbrook Manor is a local businessman linked to a large Virginia brewery.
Bell said Sherbrook Manor covers an area of 1.01 hectares and has a history of nearly 100 years of construction and gardens, but is still available in the current market.
