The editor remembers watching a documentary film about Vietnamese refugees coming to Australia to escape the war, their parents running for life all day long and having no time to take care of their children. Unable to accept the huge differences in life, the child eventually joined the gang, taking drugs, drug trafficking. To their parents' heartache, they came to Australia to live happily ever after, but accidentally fell into the same despair.

We Chinese come to Australia for the same purpose, but there is no heaven in the world. The real things that happen to us are all the more shocking.

Today, the editor will give you an inventory of some of the vicious cases that have taken place in the Australian Chinese community over the past 10 years.


1. -five of the Chinese family in Sydney were killed.-the killer was a relative.

Sydney Chinese Extinction-Xie Lianbin killed five members of the family and sentenced him to five life sentences. The incident was a monstrous and vicious case both in the Chinese community and in Australia as a whole. Xie Lianbin was accused of brutally killing five members of the Lin family in 2009. The eight-year trial ended in February 2017. Xie Lianbin was sentenced to five life imprisonment.

After the case ended, Lin's only survivor showed up for the first time that she had been sexually assaulted by his uncle, Xie Lianbin. The judge said he had killed five members of the Lin family out of hatred for cruelty.

Xie Lianbin, a former otolaryngologist in the country who emigrated to Australia at the age of 35, moved to Sydney after failing to open a restaurant in Melbourne, killed in 2009 and was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2017, when he was 53.

 

2. 19-year-old Chinese student killed by Chinese in Chinatown

In 2016, a 19-year-old Yarra Valley Grammar Chinese student was beaten by several other Chinese students over a love affair. It happened in an alley in Melbourne Chinatown. Police described the victim's multiple stampedes on his head, causing the victim to faint. The victim was returned to his home shortly before 11:00 in the evening and was taken to Melbourne Hospital at 7 a.m. The victim later died in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

 

3. Cold Mengmei was sexually assaulted by her uncle under the same roof, killed, and dumped.

In 2016, a naked body of Leng Meng-mei, a graduate of Sydney University of Science and Technology, was found on the central coast of Xinzhou, and autopsy revealed that the victim had been severely assaulted by violence before his death. The killer was found to be her uncle,. Derek Barrett, who lived under the eaves of her house, hiding her body at home after killing Leng Mengmei. Two days later, the body was dumped.

Leng Mengmei's mother later came to Sydney and said she had lost her husband during the Wenchuan earthquake and now her daughter in Sydney.

 

4. Adelaide Chinese prostitutes cut throat by Chinese clients

In 2015 New Year's Day, a 25-year-old Chinese human worker, was mutilated at a hotel in Adelaide. Police later found the killer, a man with a Chinese visa, who had been in Adelaide for four years, living with his wife and an eight-month-old son.

 

5. 19-year-old Chinese children kill their own mothe

In 2011, Li Wei, a Chinese student, beat his mother with a metal bar and strangled her in Adelaide. The body was wrapped in sheets and placed on the floor of the hall. Li Wei, who fled Australia three years later, was hunted back to Australia for trial. She claimed she was under pressure from her mother and killed her.

 

6. Brisbane Chinese broken ex-wife

In 2009, a 45-year-old Brisbane Chinese man, Pan Jiagan, killed his ex-wife and broke up the body of his wife because he was dissatisfied with the division of his property after his divorce. He then bought cement in an attempt to hide the body in a fake wall in the cupboard and was caught laying the wall.
