On Bondi Beach, swimmers filmed a thrilling scene:
A two-meter-long great white shark is devouring a tuna that is only 20 meters away from the swimmer!
Jason Iggleden, the developer of the drone shark app, discovered the shark Wednesday morning, according to 9news.
When he saw the two-meter-long shark attacking a tuna just 20 metres away from the swimmer, he immediately told the lifeguard that the lifeguard would let tourists on the beach, leave, then scare the shark off with the boat.
"as you can see from the video, it comes from the bottom and attacks what I think is tuna," he said. "over the past year, we`ve saved lives."
Iggleden is flying drones over Sydney Beach and uploading videos to his app, which allows surfers to see the danger.
More than 1/3 sharks attack each year is caused by the weight of up to 3000 kilograms of great white sharks.
There were 23 shark attacks in Australia in 2018, five more than in 2017, according to the Australian Taronga Conservancy.
Authorities advises Australians to avoid swimming at dawn and dusk. It is best not to go to estuaries or turbid, discolored waters to reduce the chance of sharks on the beach.
